Why the accounts must be yours

NibbleFlix apps are fully white-label. Your store listings appear under your name, and the viewer data and revenue are yours. That means the developer accounts must belong to your company. We prepare the builds and support the submission, and launch support is included.

Set up developer accounts

Do this first. Account approval is outside anyone’s control and can take longer than the rest of your launch.

STOREWHAT YOU NEED
App StoreAn Apple Developer Program membership, which has an annual fee. Organisation enrollment asks for legal entity details such as a D-U-N-S number.
Google PlayA Google Play Console developer account, which has a one-time registration fee. Expect identity and organisation verification.
BothA company email, a public website, a privacy policy URL and someone who can answer verification requests quickly.

Prepare your store listings

  • App name and short description that match your brand.
  • A full description that says what viewers can watch and how pricing works.
  • Screenshots for the required device sizes.
  • App icon in the sizes each store asks for.
  • Age rating questionnaire answered honestly for your content.
  • Privacy policy and support URLs.

Store rules for streaming apps

Digital content sold inside an app, such as coins or a VIP pass, generally has to use the store’s in-app purchase system. Apple and Google charge a commission of up to 30% on those purchases.

  1. Create in-app purchase products for each coin pack, pass or subscription.
  2. Show renewal terms clearly before any subscription purchase.
  3. Prepare a test account so reviewers can reach every screen.

Review times and going live

Review times vary by store, by app and by time of year. Many reviews finish within a few days, but first submissions and apps with in-app purchases can take longer, especially if reviewers have questions. Leave a buffer before you announce a date.

  1. Submit both apps as soon as testing is complete.
  2. Answer reviewer messages quickly to keep the review moving.
  3. Release manually if you want to time the launch with marketing.
  4. Plan for updates, which go through review too.
